Afro Peruvian Contemporary Music

Raíz y Cajón is a contemporary Afro-Peruvian music group that brings the rich rhythms and traditions of Peru into a fresh, modern sound.

Rooted in the power of the cajón and Afro-Peruvian percussion, the group blends traditional rhythms with electric guitar, keyboards, drums, and contemporary musical influences to create an energetic experience that honors where the music comes from while taking it somewhere new.
